This week we have been learning about repeating patterns!
The following picture shows us a repeating pattern:
What is the repeating pattern in this picture?
Correct! The pattern is STAR, HEART, HEART!
HOME ACTIVITY
Objective:
Predict later elements of repeating patterns
STEP ONE:
Using household objects, create your own repeating pattern!
STEP TWO:
Draw the pattern you have created on a looseleaf piece of paper and bring it in to show your classmates what you have come up with!
Remember to be creative!
LANGUAGE SUPPORT:
Once you have created your pattern. Describe the pattern unit by stating it out loud.
(For example: The pattern unit is red apple, yellow banana)
Computer exercise:
Please go to the following link to practice repeating patterns!

Assignment will be due Friday, May 1, 2012.
Modified instruction to enrich learning is highlighted in yellow.
